How far can I run Ethernet cable and still get a good signal?Updated 7 months ago

Generally speaking, the maximum Ethernet Channel length is 328ft. This is inclusive of a 295ft "permanent link" and 33ft of 24 AWG patch cords at either end. That said, permitted lengths will vary by ambient temperatures, and gauge of patch cords used, in addition to secondary considerations such as the bandwidth you wish to achieve at a certain distance (Cat6 at 10G for example).
