How do I ground more than one patch panel in my rack?Updated 5 hours ago

When multiple shielded patch panels are present in a rack, the preferred method is to individually bond each patch panel to the Rack Busbar (RBB). However, in smaller installations or residential settings where an RBB may not be available, serial bonding of patch panels may be necessary. To maintain the requisite low-impedance bond, it is crucial not to exceed two shielded patch panels bonded in series. The short green bond wire supplied with the shielded patch panel should be used to bond one rack to another. The final shielded patch panel in the series should then be bonded to a grounded AC outlet using the truePLUG Shielded Ethernet Patch Panel Bond & Ground Extension Wire Adapter.
