What does "component rated" mean?Updated 7 months ago

Component Rated means the individual piece of hardware, cable, or assembly has been ANSI/TIA 568 Certified with a test instrument. Most cabling systems are field certified after installation, but component rated ensures you are starting out with top quality hardware to begin with.
