Can I use any crimping tool to terminate your Cat6/6A Shielded Pass-Through RJ45 Connectors?Updated 9 months ago

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee our Cat6/6A Shielded Pass-Through RJ45 Connectors will work with other crimp tools. This is due to the external ground collar, and most crimp tools don't have the space to accommodate the collar. Then, the tool will press/dig the collar into the cable jacket which puts pressure on the conductors, leaving you with a poor termination with a poor connection.
